Heat vs. 76ers Prediction
The Philadelphia 76ers have won two games in a row to take control of their series with the Miami Heat. Is Philadelphia going to close out the series and cover the double-digit spread tonight in Game 5?

According to oddsmakers at YouWager, the 76ers are a 10-point favorite on the spread line. The total sits at 211 points. As of Tuesday afternoon, 51 percent of public bets have sided with host Philadelphia. Check out our NBA Public Betting Page for up-to-date information.
Simmons continue to sizzle
Ben Simmons helped guide the Sixers to a 106-102 win in Game 4 with his first triple-double of the series. He nearly secured a triple-double in Game 1, but finished one assist away. He is averaging 19.3 points, 10.8 rebounds and 9.8 assists through four games this series. Simmons has also had four steals in each of the last two contests. Simmons is the favorite to win Rookie of the Year honors after averaging 15.8 points, 8.2 assists and 8.1 rebounds during the regular season. Even with star center Joel Embiid back in the fold the last two games, Simmons' numbers haven't taken a hit.
Wade has another big game off bench
Dwyane Wade as usual was not shy about hoisting up shots as a reserve for the Heat, making 10-of-22 shots for 25 points in 26 minutes played. He also contributed three rebounds, three steals and an assist. Wade was brought back at the trade deadline as a fan favorite and veteran scorer off the bench, averaging 12 points per game in 21 games played after arriving from Cleveland. He also had 28 points in the Game 2 113-103 win at Philly. While Wade is now 36 years old, he has proven he can still bring it in crunch time and in big games.
NBA Betting Trends
Miami
The Heat are 0-4 ATS in their last four games played on two days of rest. The under is 5-1 in the last six Miami games after an ATS loss.
Philadelphia
The Sixers are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games following an ATS win. Philadelphia is 4-1 ATS in its last five games overall.
Prediction:
Philadelphia has won two of its three victories in blowout fashion this series, while the Heat have played competitive basketball in the other two games and even notched a double-digit win on the road. While the Sixers have definite blowout potential here, I believe Miami will be focused and bring its 'A' game with its season on the line. While Philly will likely prevail, the spread seems a bit high. I expect a game that will stay within reach well into the fourth quarter.
