According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Hawks are favored at home today, as they are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Wizards. The over/under total for the game is listed at 210.5 points.

Atlanta got on the board in Game 3 with a 116-98 win over the Wizards at home to make the series 2-1 for Washington. The win snapped a five-game losing streak to the Hawks and the Wizards are 4-2 against the spread in their last six meetings. Atlanta is now 44-41 overall, 24-18 at home and 40-45 against the spread. Washington is 51-34 overall, 19-23 on the road and 44-40-1 against the spread.

Returning home seemed to give Atlanta the boost it needed on offense. The Hawks shots 44-of-89 from the floor, with 26 assists on the 44 field goals. They were also heavy on the glass, racking up 50 for the game. Paul Millsap had 29 points and 14 rebounds to lead the team while Dennis Schroder had 27 points and nine assists. Washington had 15 turnovers in the game and shot just 37-of-89 from the field and 7-of-29 from 3-point land. John Wall had 29 points with seven assists but Bradley Beal had just 12 points on 6-of-20 shooting.

Bet on Hawks vs. Wizards

Atlanta has been a different team at home and that showed in Game 3, as the Hawks controlled the Wizards from the start. They have won their last five at home, beating and covering the likes of Washington, Cleveland and Boston in that span. Washington has conversely lost five of their last six on the road. The Wizards just don’t seem to click on offense away from home and Beal’s play in Game 3 was a great example of that. Look for Atlanta to roll at home once again tonight.
