Warriors vs. Spurs Prediction
The Golden State Warriors have dominated and covered the spread in each of the three games in their first round series versus the San Antonio Spurs. Will Golden State finish the sweep and earn another cover this afternoon in Game 4 at San Antonio?

Curry getting closer to return
With Golden State close to advancing to the second round, there is no rush in getting injured star point guard Steph Curry (knee) back on the floor. But with that said, he is back on the practice floor and the goal is for the Warriors to have him back in the second round. Whether that means Game 1 of the second round remains to be seen, but his progress is encouraging. Right now, the Warriors are still focused on eliminating the Spurs but with the results of the first three games that seems like all but a formality. Curry averaged 26.4 points, 6.1 assists and 5.1 rebounds during the regular season.
Aldridge sharp in loss
LaMarcus Aldridge has done his best to carry the Spurs on his back this season in the mysterious absence of Kawhi Leonard (quadricep), but even his best efforts this series haven't been enough against powerful Golden State. Aldridge notched a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds plus four assists in the 110-97 home loss in Game 3. Aidridge is averaging 22 points and eight boards in three playoff games this season, not far off his regular season averages of 23.1 and 8.5.
NBA Betting Trends
Golden State
The over is 5-1 in the last six Warriors games following an ATS win. Golden State is 5-1 ATS in its last six games in San Antonio.
The Spurs are 2-8 ATS in the last 10 meetings. The over is 4-0-1 in the last five Spurs games following a straight up loss.
Prediction:
The Warriors clearly have San Antonio's number with covers in eight of the last 10 meetings including all three this series. Additionally, the Spurs will be without head coach Gregg Popovich again for Game 4 as he grieves the death of his wife Erin with his family. I'm surprised the spread isn't a little higher. Go with Golden State again.
