Public Betting Information

According to oddsmakers at YouWager, the Sixers are a 3-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 214.5. As of Saturday morning, 88 percent of public bets are pouring in on Philadelphia. Check out our NBA Public Betting Page for further information.

Embiid shakes off rust in return

Philadelphia star center Joel Embiid went from doubtful to play in Game 3 to having his return announced in the hours before the game from an orbital fracture that had kept him out the last month. Donning a mask, Embiid had 23 points along with seven rebounds and four assists in 30 minutes during the 128-108 victory. He also blocked three shots. It was encouraging that he played 30 minutes in his first game back, so endurance isn't a question and he should be even better in Game 4 now that he has a game under his belt.

Winslow sparkplug off bench

Miami swingman Justise Winslow put in a strong Game 3 performance despite the loss. He accounted for 19 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal over 27 minutes off the bench. He came out of the gates strong which helped the Heat hold a 64-64 lead at halftime before the hosts faltered after the break. Winslow only averaged 7.8 points and 5.4 rebounds during the regular season, but he played his best basketball in the latter portion so continued stellar play during the postseason isn't unexpected.

NBA Betting Trends

Philadelphia

The Sixers are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five meetings in Miami. Philadelphia is 4-0 ATS in its last four Saturday games.

Miami

The under is 3-0-1 in the last four Heat games after allowing 125 or more points in their last game. The over is 6-1 in the last seven Miami games against an opponent with a winning percentage over .600.

Prediction:

The Sixers lost a game which ended their long win streak, but now with Embiid back it didn't take long for them to be rejuvenated again. If they can win by 20 in Miami last game, the 3-point spread seems small enough for them to manage here. Keep riding Philly.
