Parker wants more minutes
Milwaukee Bucks forward Jabari Parker expressed his desire for more minutes to media following the Game 2 120-106 loss in which he did not score in 10 minutes of action off the bench while collecting two rebounds. More playing time might open up naturally, however, as starting center John Henson (back) has been listed as doubtful for tonight's game. While Parker is always an offensive threat and good rebounder, his defense has been questionable at best since returning in February after recovering from a torn ACL. If Parker wants to receive the minutes he wants, defense is likely going to be the key for him.
Rozier outplays Bledsoe again
In both games at Boston, Terry Rozier outplayed Bucks starting guard Eric Bledsoe. Rozier is starting for the injured Kyrie Irving and has been making the most of his chances, putting in 23 points in the Game 2 victory to go with eight rebounds and three assists. He shot 8-of-14 from the floor including 3-of-5 from 3-point range. Bledsoe only scored 12 points on 5-of-13 rebounds, although he did collect seven rebounds and four assists. At this rate, Bledsoe isn't going to be able to fake to media like he doesn't know who Rozier is for much longer.
NBA Betting Trends
Boston
The Celtics are 4-0 ATS in their last four games played on two days of rest. The over is 4-0 in the last four meetings.
Milwaukee
The Bucks are 1-7 ATS in their last seven home games versus Boston. Milwaukee is 0-5 in the last five meetings overall.
Prediction:
It's surprising to see the Bucks as a 5-point favorite. Seems a little high when the Celtics have done well at home and seem to frustrate the Bucks' offense. If Milwaukee wins, I believe it will come down to the final possession. I'm comfortable with betting on Boston to stay within the number or perhaps even winning outright.
