The Miami Heat are in a must-win situation at home to close out the season as they host the Washington Wizards tonight at 8PM ET.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Heat are the clear favorite at home, as they are getting odds of -11.5 points against the Wizards. The over/under total for the game is listed at 202.5 points. Miami has won and covered the spread in four straight meetings with Washington, including all three encounters this season.

The Heat have won two straight, including a 3-point win at Washington, to get to 40-41 on the season. Miami is currently tied with the Bulls for the last spot in the East, but losing on a tiebreaker. Miami needs a win and a loss by the Bulls or Pacers to reach the playoffs. Miami has been strong at the betting window this season, going 48-32-1 ATS. In their last five games, the Heat are putting up 109.8 points per game while allowing 107 on defense. Goran Dragic is averaging 20.2 points and 5.8 assists per game while Hassan Whiteside is adding 16.9 points and 14.1 rebounds per contest.

The Wizards have won three of their last four games to move to 49-32 on the season. Washington is locked into the fourth seed in the playoffs in the East. The Wizards are 41-39-1 against the spread this season, but just 2-5 ATS in their last seven. It’s unclear who will suit up for Washington today, but John Wall is listed as questionable with a quad injury and the team probably won’t risk him. Miami obviously has it all at stake and should get the win, but giving up 11.5 points is quite a bit. The Heat were at home facing a short-handed Cleveland team on Monday and still needed OT to get a win. Miami still has plenty of injuries that are keeping it from being at 100 percent, so look for Washington do enough to keep this game interesting tonight.
