Cleveland saw a four-game losing streak come to an end on Friday when they suffered a 114-100 loss at home to the Hawks. Cleveland is now 51-28 overall, sitting ½ a game ahead of Boston in the standings. The Cavs sit 35-41-3 against the spread following the loss to Atlanta on Friday. Cleveland averages 110.4 points per game on offense while allowing 106.8 on defense. Over their last five, Cleveland is putting up 118.6 on offense while giving up 108.4 on defense. LeBron James has had another great season, averaging 26.3 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game this year. Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson may not play today due to injuries. Irving is questionable with a knee issue while Thompson is doubtful with a thumb injury.

Atlanta has had back-to-back big wins, beating the Celtics and Cavs to get to 41-38 on the season. They are fifth in the East right now by ½ a game over the Bucks and just 1.5 games over the Pacers. Atlanta has covered the spread in four of their last five games to get to 37-42 against the spread for the season. The Hawks average 103.1 points per game on offense while allowing 104.1 on defense. Over their last five games, Atlanta is averaging 104.4 points per game on offense while allowing 101 on defense. Atlanta is banged up as well, as both Paul Millsap and Dennis Schroder are questionable tonight. The two both average 18.1 points per game.

Bet on Cavaliers vs. Hawks

This game is a tough call as both lineups could be severely impacted by the injuries. Atlanta is playing some of its best basketball over the last few games and should be able to take care of business at home. The Hawks still have plenty at stake right now. Cleveland does too, but the Cavs have been struggling to cover as of late and could be without Irving, who is a major asset.
