Bet NBA Action For Sunday, April 8, 2018

Golden State opened as a 13.5-point favorite before the line went down a point, while the total has also come down a point from 217. The Warriors are a 13-point favorite at most books, but can be found at -13.5. The total is at 216 almost everywhere, but can be bet up to 217.

As of Sunday afternoon, 54 percent of public bets are being placed on the visiting Warriors. Online wager info also shows that 68 percent of bets are siding with the over.

Point guard Shaun Livingston (knee) is questionable to play today. Small forward Andre Iguodala (rest) is not expected to play. Small forward Omri Casspi was released after last night's game and no longer with the team. Shooting guard Patrick McCaw (back) is out until early May. Small forward Chris Boucher (ankle) is out indefinitely. Point guard Stephen Curry (knee) is out until late April. For Phoenix, shooting guard Troy Daniels (ankle) and power forward Alan Williams (knee) are both questionable. Point guard Elfrid Payton (knee), shooting guard Devin Booker (hand), small forward TJ Warren and center Tyson Chandler (neck) are out indefinitely. Point guard Brandon Knight (knee) is out for the season.

Golden State lost 126-120 at home to the Pelicans last night and its fatigued legs should impact defense more than offense, especially when its opponent in the Suns doesn't play any defense anyway. As long as Phoenix can keep this within single digits, chances are good that the score will go over its projection.
