Philadelphia opened as an 11.5-point favorite, while the over-under has gone up from 212 points. The 76ers are a 13-point favorite at most sportsbooks, but can be bet at -13.5. The total is currently 215.5 everywhere.

As of Sunday morning, 58 percent of public bets are coming in on the Sixers. Online wager info also shows  that 56 percent of bets are being placed on the over.

INJURY TO WATCH

Mavericks center Salah Mejri (knee) point guard Kyle Collinsworth (Achilles), small forward Doug McDermott (knee) and point guard Dennis Smith Jr. (knee) are all questionable to play today. Center Dirk Nowitzki (ankle), point guard JJ Barea (oblique), center Nerlens Noel (suspension), shooting guard Wesley Matthews (leg) and shooting guard Seth Curry (leg) are all out for the season. For Philadelphia, center Joel Embiid (face) is out until late April. Shooting guard Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (knee) is out indefinitely.

BETTING STRATEGY

The Sixers pushed their winning streak to 13 games a couple days ago with a 132-130 home victory over the Cavaliers. Now they get a scheduling gift versus a Mavs team that is tanking and also without what seems to be 100 percent of their roster. OK, that is an exaggeration... but seriously, Dallas is missing a ton here. Add in the early start and I have no issues believing in Philly to blow out another team on its home floor.
