Robert Covington will miss the rest of the season for the Sixers after an MRI revealed a slight tear of the lateral meniscus. It's the same injury that ended Joel Embiid's season. Speaking of injured Philadelphia players, Jahlil Okafor has also been ruled out for the rest of the year due to a troublesome right knee injury.
Meanwhile, DeMar DeRozan continues to carry the Raptors, who have now won seven of their last 10 games. DeRozan scored 40 points during a 111-100 win over the Pacers on Friday night, adding nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 38 minutes of play. He has Vince Carter's single-season franchise record with his 30th 30-point game of the season.
