The second game of TNT’s Thursday night NBA double header takes place at 10:00 p.m. ET when the Clippers host the Nuggets from STAPLES Center. The under has been profitable in previous meetings between these two teams but will that be the case in the matchup tonight?

Denver Nuggets DFS Spin
Michael Porter Jr. came in hot on Tuesday and hit 11-of-16 shots and 5-of-7 3-pointers for 27 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block in 36 minutes of an easy 104-95 win over the Sixers. MPJ had it going early tonight and kept it going throughout. The Nuggets were up by 25 points three different times in this one and although the Sixers made a mild comeback late to salvage a reasonable score, it simply allowed for guys like MPJ, Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic to stay in the game and pad their stats. It would be nice if Nick Nurse felt the way about Chris Boucher as Michael Malone feels about MPJ. It took a minute, but we are finally getting a full dose of MPJ on a nightly basis and Aaron Gordon hasn't slowed him down in the least, at least thus far.
Los Angeles Clippers DFS Spin
Paul George won't play against the Nuggets on Thursday due to his lingering foot injury. Rajon Rondo (adductor), Serge Ibaka (back) and Patrick Beverley (knee) are also out. This should mean another start and quality performance for Luke Kennard.
Nuggets vs. Clippers Betting Prediction
The under is 42-19-2 in the last 63 meetings between these two teams and is 23-8-1 in their last 32 games at STAPLES Center. The under is also 4-1 in the Nuggets’ last five games as a road favorite, is 5-1 in their last six road games overall and is 13-5-3 in the Clippers’ last 21 games when facing an opponent like Denver that has a winning percentage above .600.
