Miami Heat DFS Spin
Tyler Herro finished Saturday's 129-100 loss to the Nets with 23 points (9-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, three assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 33 minutes. Herro has scored 22 points or more in three of his last five games, shooting better than 50% from the field in three of those outings. He's been a 5th-round player in 9-cat formats over the last two weeks, two rounds higher than his value for the season. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, the Heat have one of the league's worst schedules down the stretch. They played two games in Week 22 and will only have three games in Week 23. While players like Herro, Jimmy Butler (18/1/5 with one 3-pointer), and Bam Adebayo (16/7/2/1/1) are good enough to make up for the scheduling, Miami's role players have taken a significant hit fantasy-wise.
Toronto Raptors DFS Spin
Fred VanVleet lit up the Wizards with 28 points (10-for-21 FGs), four rebounds, seven assists, three steals, one block and five 3-pointers on Sunday. FVV provided a complete line in this game, which helped the Raptors get an important win at home. They collected their second straight win, which allowed them to move into a tie with the Hawks for eighth in the East. VanVleet struggled with his shot in each of their last two games, shooting 31% in both. Despite the recent struggles from the floor, he has remained a consistent threat from deep. He has at least two 3-pointers in every game this month, including at least three in all but two games and five on Sunday.
