Cleveland Cavs DFS Spin
Donovan Mitchell provided a full line on Sunday with 22 points (8-for-16 FGs), five rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and four 3-pointers against Houston. Per usual, Mitchell had a big scoring night for Cleveland. This was the fewest shots he’s taken in a game since before the All-Star break, but he was still able to score at least 20 points for the seventh straight game. In his first season with Cleveland, Mitchell has enjoyed a career year, as he has averaged a career-high 27.5 points per game while shooting a career-best 47.7% from the floor. After having an ADP of 24.2 this season, he should be drafted within the first two round of every draft next year.
Atlanta Hawks DFS Spin
Trae Young led the Hawks with 28 points (7-for-14 FGs, 11-for-12 FTs), two rebounds, 10 assists and three 3-pointers in a 123-119 loss to the Grizzlies on Sunday. After being ejected early on Saturday night, Young bounced back with a big night on Sunday. It wasn’t enough to get a win, but Trae was able to provide excellent value from the free throw line once again. Over his last four games, Young has shot 40-for-45 from the charity stripe, which includes shooting 2-for-2 in their last game before the ejection. He was also able shoot over 50% from the floor, which hasn’t happened often over the past month. He’ll need to keep it going against Cleveland on Tuesday to avoid slipping down the standings more.
