Suns vs. Hornets NBA Prediction
The Suns have won seven of their last 10 games but are laying 6.5 points to a Hornets team that has the same record over its last 10 games on Sunday. Will Charlotte cash as a home underdog or will Phoenix stay hot both on the court and at the betting window?

Deandre Ayton hit 9-of-12 shots and 1-of-1 free throw for 19 points, nine rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 29 minutes of a 104-100 win over Toronto. Ayton has been playing much better these days, this time taking advantage of a smaller Toronto frontcourt. He entered Friday on a top-40 run in 9-cat over the last month, averaging 16.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.3 blocks. “His pick-and-roll coverage was really, really good,” head coach Monty Williams said of Ayton’s recent defense. “His attention at the rim to not foul, to get his hands up and make it difficult. Those are dominant performances. I just thought his focus was at a high level.” The Suns have been red hot and Ayton is a big reason why they keep rising in the Western Conference.
Charlotte Hornets DFS Spin
Malik Monk (sore right foot) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Suns. Monk, who went off for 32 points in Friday's win over the Heat, is listed as probable so that's good news. He has been solid for the Hornets recently, providing 12th-round value in 9-cat formats over the last two weeks. Monk is rostered in 22% of Yahoo leagues and, given the number of players around the league sitting out due to either injuries or trades, that percentage should be higher.
Suns vs. Hornets Betting Prediction
With both teams hot, I don’t see much value in the side so I’m going with the total. The over is 10-2 in the last 12 meetings between these two teams and is 5-1 in the last six meetings in Charlotte. The over is also 12-5 in the Suns’ last 17 games coming off an ATS win and is 4-1 in their last five road games when facing an opponent with a winning home record. On the other side, the over is 13-4 in the Hornets’ last 17 games coming off an ATS win.
