Minnesota Timberwolves DFS Spin

Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards has missed the club’s last three contests with a right ankle sprain, but there is optimism that he will return to the lineup against the Warriors on Sunday. Edwards is Minnesota’s leading scorer with 24.7 points per game. Minnesota guard Jaylen Nowell is also questionable for Sunday’s game with left knee tendinopathy. Nowell is averaging 10.8 points per game in 19.3 minutes per contest for the Timberwolves this season.

Minnesota center Karl-Anthony Towns is also questionable for Saturday’s tilt with Golden State with a calf ailment. Towns is second on the team in scoring with 20.8 points per game and second on the club in rebounding with 8.0 per game. The status of Edwards and Towns will likely have a great impact on this game.  

Golden State Warriors DFS Spin

Golden State guard Gary Payton II has missed 7 weeks with an abdominal injury, but he’s set to return to the lineup for the Warriors on Sunday. Payton is shooting 58.5% from the field this season and is one of the better perimeter defenders on the Warriors.

Warriors small forward Andrew Wiggins will remain out with a personal issue on Sunday. In his stead, Golden State small forward Jonathan Kuminga has made considerable strides as a player. In 10 games this month, Kuminga is averaging 14.9 points. 4.5 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game. He’s also shooting well both from the field (56.6%) and the three-point line (45.2%) in that same span, which could provide him with some DFS value on Sunday.
