Houston Rockets DFS Spin
Kevin Porter Jr. tallied 20 points (7-of-12 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), six rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes during Friday's 151-114 loss to the Grizzlies. Porter has now scored 20 points or more in four of his last six games, shooting at least 43% from the field in each. Efficiency has been an issue in the past for Scoot, but he's done a better job in that regard recently. Over the last two weeks, KPJ has provided top-40 value in 9-cat formats. Due to the recent production, Porter is one of two Rockets ranked within the top 100 in season-long value, with Alperen Sengun (7/5/2/1 in 25 minutes vs. Memphis) being the other.
Cleveland Cavs DFS Spin
Donovan Mitchell shot 11-of-23 from the field and 6-of-9 from the foul line in Thursday's 116-114 win over the Nets, accounting for 31 points, five rebounds, one assist, one block, and three 3-pointers in 33 minutes. Mitchell missed a free throw that would have tied the game with 11.1 seconds remaining, which began a wild sequence that ended with Isaac Okoro's game-winning three with 1.1 seconds to go. Spida scored 31 points in both of Cleveland's wins in Brooklyn this week, shooting 21-of-45 from the field while knocking down eight 3-pointers. He's providing top-20 value in 9-cat formats and could very well push himself into the 1st-round before the season ends. Cleveland's final game of Week 22, at home against the Rockets on Sunday, should help in that regard.
