San Antonio Spurs Fantasy Spin
LaMarcus Aldridge blocked a season-high five shots against the Rockets on Friday, adding 10 points, four rebounds, four assists and one turnover in 33 minutes. It's just two off his career-high block total, but the story of the game was Clint Capela locking LMA down. Aldridge had success against Capela in the previous three games, but he's in an offensive slump right now. Over his last five, he's averaged just 16.0 points, 8.8 boards, 2.0 dimes and 2.2 blocks in 34.0 minutes per game. He's been below a 23 usage rate in each of his last four, so it's more about him not getting enough shots. He'll be fine.
Boston Celtics Fantasy Spin
Kyrie Irving made 12-of-23 from the field for 31 points with seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in a brutal 124-117 loss to the Hornets on Saturday. It looked like he was going to have a happy 27th birthday with a huge lead and a hot first half, but the Celtics had a massive collapse to close. This loss ended on a 30-5 run for the Hornets, and it'll be interesting to see what the Celtics have in mind for Sunday at home against the Spurs. Irving has said he is going to rest, so that game could certainly be an option, especially after a birthday. His owners will have to make sure he's good to go.

San Antonio is also 6-1-1 against the spread in its last eight games overall and while the Spurs are also 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 road games, the Celtics have failed to cover the spread in five of their previous six games. Boston has also struggled playing the second game of a back-to-back, posting a 3-7-1 record against the spread in their last 11 games coming off a game the night before.
