Pistons vs. Warriors Prediction
The Warriors failed to show up to Oracle Arena last night, losing 126-91 to a struggling Mavs team as a massive 13.5-point favorite. The defending champs will again be a big home favorite tonight, this time against a much better opponent, as the playoff-bound Pistons come to town. Will Detroit cover?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Warriors are 12-point favorites to beat the Pistons. The total, meanwhile, sits at 216.5 points and as of this writing, 75% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Pistons to cover the point spread.
Detroit Pistons Fantasy Spin
Andre Drummond double-doubled again during a 117-112 loss to the Blazers on Saturday, scoring 19 points with 11 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 39 minutes. He gets his 60th double-double to keep a two dub-dub cushion over Rudy Gobert for the NBA lead. Drummond also has a firm grip for the league lead in boards with 15.5 per game to win that crown for back-to-back seasons. The Pistons will continue to battle with the Nets and Heat for the 6-8 seeds with the Magic just one game back on the No. 8 Heat. That's great news for Drummond's fantasy owners to keep him in the lineup.
Golden State Warriors Fantasy Spin
Draymond Green had a quiet night against the Mavs on Saturday, scoring six points (2-of-4 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs) with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 25 minutes. Green and the Warriors had a night to forget, losing 126-91 to Dallas at home. Green's fantasy value hasn't been the greatest over the last two weeks, but he's still posting top-60 value on the season. Since the All-Star break, he's shooting nearly 40% from deep, which is way up from his season-long mark. The Warriors play again on Sunday and will be looking to avenge this sleepy loss.
NBA Betting Trends
Detroit
The under is 14-6 in the Pistons’ last 20 road games but the over has cashed in 13 of Detroit’s last 16 games overall.
Golden State
The under is a perfect 6-0 in the Warriors’ last six home games and is 17-5 in their last 22 games overall.
Prediction
This is way too many points, especially with both teams playing on Saturday. The Pistons fell to the Trail Blazers in Portland but wound up pushing as a 5-point underdog. They’re 5-1 against the spread in their last six games versus the Warriors and are 3-1-1 against the number in their last five games overall. On the other side, the Warriors are 6-13 against the spread in their last 19 games overall and are just 7-20-1 at the betting window in their last 28 home games. Considering Golden State lost outright as a double-digit home favorite to a struggling Dallas team while only scoring 91 points, I see no reason to play the Warriors tonight. They may come out firing, but I’ll take the risk with a Pistons team that has been playing well for over a month.
