Hornets vs. Raptors Prediction
The Toronto Raptors will need to avoid letdown on Sunday evening when they host the Charlotte Hornets at 6:00 p.m. ET. Given that the spread is in double-digits, is there more value for bettors tonight when it comes to the total?

According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Raptors are 10.5-point favorites to beat the Hornets. The total, meanwhile, sits at 217.5 points and as of this writing, 63% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Raptors to cover the point spread.
Charlotte Hornets Fantasy Spin
Kemba Walker went scorched-earth mode in the final minutes of Saturday's 124-117 comeback win over the Celtics, scoring 36 points with 11 rebounds, nine assists, two steals and six 3-pointers in 35 minutes. Hot Kemba made an appearance for the 18-point comeback in the fourth as the biggest comeback win of the season, finishing this game on an absurd 30-5 run. He scored 18 points in the final 7:43, and once again it's looking clear Walker will not be affected by the rotation/youth-movement changes. For what it's worth, Miles Bridges, Jeremy Lamb and other talked about how the back-to-back set was vital for the Hornets to win and stay in the playoff hunt, so expect to see a full workload from Kemba in the coming days.
Toronto Raptors Fantasy Spin
Kyle Lowry (right ankle sprain) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. Charlotte. It's somewhat surprising Lowry has been upgraded to questionable, as coach Nick Nurse told reporters on Friday that Raptors didn't expect him to return to game action until "sometime next week." However, Nurse also noted that there was nothing structurally wrong with Lowry's ankle. We should have an update on his status after Sunday morning's shootaround. If Lowry is ruled out, Fred VanVleet will draw another start.
NBA Betting Trends
The Hornets failed to cover the spread in seven of their previous 10 games and are 2-5 at the betting window in their last seven road games.
The Raptors have failed to cover the spread in seven of their previous 10 home games and are just 6-14 ATS in their last 20 home games versus the Hornets.
These two have been solid ‘over’ teams. The over is 5-1 in the previous six meetings between these two teams and is 13-3 in the Hornets’ last 16 games versus Atlantic opponents. The over is also 3-0-1 in the Raptors’ last four games overall, is 5-0 in their last five conference games and has cashed in six of their previous eight games played on Sunday.
