Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Kings are 10-point favorites to beat the Suns. The total, meanwhile, sits at 231 points and as of this writing, 70% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Kings to cover the point spread.
Phoenix Suns Fantasy Spin
Devin Booker was the starting point guard during a 118-98 loss to the Pistons on Thursday, scoring 26 points with five rebounds, two assists, three steals, five turnovers and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes. Booker had talked about how he liked playing next to a PG, but the Suns ditched that for this game. Considering how disjointed the offense looked at times, this probably won't stick for long. The Suns are finally losing games again with four losses in their last five. That's good news for Booker with the Suns now having a four-game cushion to keep the top odds of 14.0% to win the lottery. Plus, with Josh Jackson (ankle) likely to miss time, there could be even more shots for Book.
Sacramento Kings Fantasy Spin
Marvin Bagley was terrific off the bench with 22 points, 12 rebounds, four blocks and three 3-pointers in 28 minutes against the Mavs on Thursday. He saw minutes at the five again and that may be a bigger part of his role with Harry Giles (thigh) getting hurt today. Bagley's minutes have been on the rise over his last three, and he should've been added in all leagues a week ago. The Kings have a great schedule going forward, so Bagley's fantasy owners should have some high hopes.
