INJURY TO WATCH

Miami shooting guard Dwyane Wade (hamstring) is out tonight, while center Hassan Whiteside (hip) is out indefinitely. Shooting guard Dion Waiters (ankle) is out for the season. For the Thunder, shooting guard Andre Roberson (patellar tendon) is out for the season. 

BETTING STRATEGY

This is the first meeting between these two squads since Dec. 27, 2016, when the Thunder rolled to a 106-94 victory in Miami. Oklahoma City is 5-1 straight up and ATS in the last six meetings, but it should also be remembered those numbers are 3-1 straight up and ATS when Kevin Durant was still in OKC. Times have changed, but the Thunder are still very talented with the additions of Paul George and Carmelo Anthony. Putting Corey Brewer in the starting lineup after his acquisition has also paid divdends. The Heat have been scoring more points and playing faster since the Whiteside injury, while the Thunder have hit the over in three of their last four games. Expect an entertaining game tonight with both offenses functioning well.
