The Pistons are in a bit of a funk recently, dropping four of their last five games. They're coming off a 98-96 loss to the lowly Nets on Monday night as a 5.5-point favorite. Tobias Harris led the team with 24 points and five rebounds while Andre Drummond scored just 13 points in the loss, although he did nab 17 rebounds.
The Bulls have also struggled of late, losing eight of their last 10 games. They too lost on Tuesday night, a 122-120 overtime defeat in Toronto as a 7.5-point underdog. Chicago has covered the spread in three straight games, however, and is 4-1 against the number in its last five contests.
OUR PREDICTION: The Pistons have been a solid play in this series, covering in eight of their last 10 games and going 7-2 at the betting window in their last nine games in Chicago. They've also covered in nine of their last 11 games coming off a loss and are 8-2 against the number in their last 10 games when they failed to cover in their previous contest. The Bulls, meanwhile, are just 5-11 against the spread in their last 16 home games versus a team with a winning road percentage of less than .400.
