Cleveland enters play tonight with a 5-5 record over its last 10 games and is just 4-5-1 against the spread during that span. In the Cavs' 125-120 win over the Lakers on Sunday night, Kyrie Irving went off for 46 points while LeBron James added 34 points to go along with seven assists. Kevin Love pulled down a team-high 15 boards and added 21 points as well.
Denver has won six of its last 10 games entering play tonight and has been solid at the betting window, covering the spread in seven of those 10 games as well. That said, the Nuggets have lost back-to-back games, both coming against the Rockets, despite going 5-1 against the spread over their last six. Garry Harris led the team in scoring with 28 points in their 125-124 loss in Houston on Monday.
OUR PREDICTION: The Cavaliers are a near-perfect 4-0-1 against the spread in their last five trips to Denver and are 5-1-1 against the number in their last seven games overall versus the Nuggets. The favorite is also 3-1-1 at the betting window in the last five meetings between these two teams and the road team is 7-3-1 against the spread in the last 11 meetings. When playing on two days of rest, the Cavs are 12-5-1 against the spread in their last 18 games as well.
