Wizards vs. Bulls Prediction
The Washington Wizards have been awful on the road this season, but are favored tonight at a Chicago Bulls squad that has struggled no matter the venue. Can Washington find its winning ways away from home and improve their longshot playoff hopes?

Wizards stumble against Jazz
Washington suffered a 116-95 home loss Monday night versus Utah to fall to 30-41 overall and 22-14 at home. The Wizards trailed 57-45 at halftime and were unable to bounce back after the break. Washington shot 34-of-81 from the field, 8-of-27 from 3-point distance plus 19-of-22 at the charity stripe. Jabari Parker led the Wizards with 19 points off the bench on 8-of-13 from the floor, 1-of-4 from 3-point range plus 2-of-2 at the free throw line. He also recorded seven rebounds and three steals. Bradley Beal accounted for 15 points, two boards and two dimes. Trevor Ariza had 12 points and three assists. Bobby Portis added 11 points and five caroms.
Bulls snap five-game skid
Chicago picked up a 116-101 victory Monday night at Phoenix to end a five-game losing streak and improve to 20-52 overall and 12-25 on the road. The Bulls outscored the Suns 34-20 in the first quarter to establish a big lead right out of the gates. Chicago shot 46-of-89 from the floor, 4-of-16 from 3-point distance plus 20-of-24 at the free throw line. Robin Lopez led the Bulls with 24 points on 11-of-14 from the field and 2-of-2 at the free throw line. He also notched seven rebounds and two assists. Lauri Markkanen accounted for 17 points, nine boards, two assists and two blocked shots. Zach LaVine tallied 17 points plus eight rebounds and seven assists. NBA Betting Trends
Washington
The Wizards are 4-0 ATS in their last four Wednesday games. Washington is 7-2 ATS in its last nine games overall.
Chicago
The Bulls are 4-1 ATS in their last five Wednesday games. Chicago is 1-4 ATS in its last five games versus the Eastern Conference.
Prediction:
The big news to monitor here are the status of two Bulls starters - LaVine (questionable) and Otto Porter Jr. (doubtful). If neither of them play (or even just LaVine), it will hinder the Bulls' chances considerably. Chicago has been worse at home than on the road this season for whatever reason and I think Washington bounces back strong seeing a team like Chicago after a tough matchup in Utah. Go with the Wizards to gain a rare road win and cover the spread here against what will likely be a shorthanded Bulls squad.
