Toronto Raptors DFS Spin

Toronto small forward Scottie Barnes is stuffing the stat sheet in 2022-2023. The former #4 overall pick in the 2021 draft is posting 15.7 points, 7 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1 steal per game for the Raptors this year. He’s shooting 47.7% from the field and 87% from the free throw this month and might be a nice value play in DFS on Sunday.

Raptors center Jakob Poeltl has been playing well since he arrived via trade at the beginning of February. The Utah alum is averaging 14.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 1.6 blocks per game in 14 contests with the Raptors this year. He could be a cost-effective center option in DFS this weekend.  

Milwaukee Bucks DFS Spin

Bucks small forward Khris Middleton has been rounding into form for Milwaukee in the past few weeks. He’s averaging 17.8 points, 6.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.7 made three-pointers per game in six contests this month. Middleton has increased his scoring average in each of the past three months and appears to be nearly back to 100% after he missed multiple weeks earlier this season with a knee injury.

Bucks forward Bobby Portis has only logged 19 starts this season, but he’s one of the Bucks’ first players off the bench in nearly every game. In 26 minutes per game, Bobby Portis is putting up 13.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 1.2 made three-pointers per game this season. Portis has some additional value in DFS due to his excellent shooting splits of 50/34/82 on his field goals, three-pointers, and free throws this season.

The Raptors may be playing on the second night of a back-to-back, but they are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 0 days’ rest. Toronto always seems to play Milwaukee tough, and I think they will give the Bucks a competitive game on Sunday night. I’ll take the Raptors and the points on the road.
