Orlando Magic DFS Spin
Wendell Carter Jr. accounted for 16 points (7-of-15 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), 10 rebounds, three assists, and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 132-114 loss to the Spurs. Carter recorded his 18th double-double of the season Tuesday night, which leads the Magic. While he won't match his total from last season (33 double-doubles), WCJ is providing 7th-round value in 9-cat formats over the last two weeks. The one concern for fantasy managers at this point in the season is Carter staying healthy, as Saturday's win over Miami was his first back after missing three games with a hip injury. Orlando has three more games on its road trip this week, Thursday in Phoenix, followed by a Saturday/Sunday back-to-back against the Clippers and Lakers.
Phoenix Suns DFS Spin
Deandre Ayton dealt with foul trouble on Tuesday and finished with 16 points (8-for-19 FGs) and eight rebounds against the Bucks. Ayton spent nearly half of this game on the bench as he dealt with foul trouble early and often. Fortunately, he was aggressive when he was on the floor, so it didn't limit his overall production too much. Still, the Suns can't afford for Ayton to be in foul trouble with Kevin Durant hurt and the rest of their depth playing for the Nets. His time on the bench allowed Jock Landale to score 12 points off the bench, but they can't rely on Landale to play big minutes if they want to reach their level of success from the past two seasons.
