Hawks vs. Celtics Spread Prediction
The Celtics returned home with an impressive performance on Thursday in a win over the Kings but failed to cover as a 7.5-point favorite. Laying double-digits on Saturday afternoon, will Boston cash for bettors this time around when it hosts the Hawks at 12:30 p.m. ET?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Celtics are 10-point favorites to beat the Hawks. The total, meanwhile, sits at 232.5 points and as of this writing, 59% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Celtics to cover the point spread.
Atlanta Hawks Fantasy Spin
John Collins scored a game-high 27 points on Wednesday, making 11-of-17 FGs and 4-of-5 FTs with 12 rebounds, two blocks, one steal and one assist. Collins did his damage in just 25 minutes, adding five offensive boards in a runaway victory. The Grizzlies came in with the best best defensive rating since the All-Star break, allowing 102.1 points per 100 possessions, but they were no match for the Hawks' offense tonight -- Atlanta scored 62 points in the paint and had 31 points in transition.
Boston Celtics Fantasy Spin
Kyrie Irving made 11-of-28 from the field for 31 points with 10 rebounds, 12 assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes during a 126-120 win over the Kings on Thursday. It's the second triple-double of his career, and he's the first Celtics player to record a 30-point trip-dub since Rajon Rondo in 2012. His 38 minutes are the most he's played since Feb. 23 and Irving has played 34-plus minutes for three straight. His minutes are slightly up per game since the All-Star break and the Celtics battling for position could help him stay on the floor. We are expecting him to get some rest, but Irving should have top-20 value when he's active.
NBA Betting Trends
Atlanta
The Hawks have covered the spread in five straight road games and in five of their last six games overall.
Boston
The Celtics are just 2-6 at the betting window in their last eight games when playing on one day of rest.
Prediction
The Celtics have exactly when a covering machine of late and this is a lot of points to lay against an Atlanta team that has been excellent ATS of late. Still, I like Boston to get the job done this afternoon. The Celtics are an impressive 35-17 at the betting window in their last 52 home games and have owned this matchup, covering in five of their previous six games versus the Hawks. These two teams have met three times this season, with Atlanta averaging less points per game than its season PPG average, while Boston has eclipsed its season PPG average in all three games. Ten is a lot, but I could see the Celtics winning by 15-plus.
Saturday NBA Prediction: Boston Celtics -10
