Los Angeles Clippers DFS Spin

Kawhi Leonard contributed 23 points, five rebounds, two assists, two triples, two steals and one turnover across 29 minutes in Sunday's blowout loss to New Orleans. Leonard was one of the few Clippers to get his points efficiently tonight, finishing 9-of-13 from the field and 3-of-3 from the stripe, but for the most part, this game was a disaster for Los Angeles. They conceded 43 points to the Pelicans in the third quarter, and New Orleans' 135 points tonight were the most they've allowed this season. The Clippers have now gone a full month without back-to-back wins, and Leonard spoke to their consistency issues after the game, saying, "It’s very concerning. If we want a chance at anything, we gotta be consistent." They'll look to right the ship on Monday in Dallas.

Dallas Mavericks DFS Spin

Luka Doncic (ankle) accounted for 21 points (7-of-16 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), five rebounds, 12 assists and three 3-pointers in 33 minutes during Saturday’s win over the Nuggets. Doncic appeared to be a bit frustrated with the officials for a significant portion of Saturday’s game, but that didn’t keep him from posting his 18th double-double of the season. And of those 18, six have been points/assists double-doubles. If there’s a concern for Doncic it would be the turnovers, as he’s averaging just over four per game on the season. That being said, given his overall production, most fantasy managers are happy to punt turnovers in order to reap the benefits of rostering Doncic.

The Clippers are 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 games against the Mavericks and are 5-1 against the number in their last six games in Dallas. They’re also 6-0 at the betting window in their last six games playing on no rest, are 17-5 against the spread in their last 22 games following a loss of more than 10 points and are 4-1 against the number in their last 22 games coming off a loss of more than 10 points. On the other side, the Mavericks are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games as an underdog, are 6-15 against the number in their last 21 home games versus a team with a winning road record and are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game.
