Sacramento Kings Fantasy Spin
Buddy Hield made 14-of-24 from the field for 34 points with four rebounds, seven assists, one turnover and six 3-pointers in 35 minutes during a 126-120 loss in Boston on Thursday. It's his first 30-point game of March after two in his final three games of February. Hield had been in a slump heading into this one, making just 36.4% from the field with averages of 21.6 points, 5.6 boards, 3.2 dimes, 0.8 steals and 3.0 treys in his previous five March games. He was bound to cool off after being the hottest shooter in the NBA for the six weeks before the All-Star Game, and he should still have a shot at early-round value the rest of the way.
Philadelphia 76ers Fantasy Spin
Ben Simmons (illness) is probable for Friday against the Kings. He was held out of practice on Thursday for his upper respiratory illness. Simmons just got over a stomach bug earlier this month, so he's feeling the effects of the sick season. The 76ers called him questionable for that issue, so him being probable means he's almost certainly out there for the home contest.
NBA Betting Trends
The Kings are 11-4-1 against the spread in their last 16 games after allowing 100 points or more in their previous contest.
The 76ers have covered the spread in 29 of their previous 42 home games when facing an opponent with a losing road record.
The underdog is 11-1 against the spread in the previous 12 meetings between these two teams and while the Kings have struggled ATS in this matchup (they’re just 7-19 against the number in their last 26 meetings with the 76ers), they’re getting too many points tonight. They had the Celtics on the ropes last night before fading in the second half. The Kings are 12-3 against the number in their last 15 games coming off a loss and have covered in five of their previous seven on the road.
