Hornets vs. Wizards Spread Prediction
The Wizards are 10 games below .500 but they’ve been profitable for bettors when playing at home this season. Will they cash again tonight as a small home favorite versus the visiting Charlotte Hornets at 7:00 p.m. ET?
575 Charlotte Hornets at 576 Washington Wizards

Our NBA Live Odds page pulls spreads and totals from multiple different online sportsbooks so you can compare betting odds to ensure you’re getting the best line.
Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Wizards are 3-point favorites to beat the Hornets. The total, meanwhile, sits at 233 points and as of this writing, 70% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Wizards to cover the point spread.
Charlotte Hornets Fantasy Spin
Nicolas Batum (right eye abrasion) isn't listed on the Hornets' injury report for Friday's game vs. the Wizards. Batum didn't practice on Wednesday but he's ready to roll after getting a positive result from Tuesday's eye exam. He'll send Jeremy Lamb back to the second unit and should pick up where he left off, providing quiet across-the-board numbers that are more useful in category leagues.
Washington Wizards Fantasy Spin
Bradley Beal had 23 points, seven assists, six rebounds, two steals and two 3-pointers in an impressive 100-90 home win on Wednesday. Beal's teammates came through tonight and took some pressure off him, relatively, as he finished 1-of-2 at the free throw line with just one turnover. The lack of free throws was unusual since he's just six away from breaking his career-high for attempts in a season (362), and his aggression is intentional. "One thing I did tell myself is that I have to start dunking more to get fouls," Beal said. "To kind of get guys to second-guess when they are jumping, bigs included." He's playing at a career-best level since John Wall went down, for both reality and fantasy.
NBA Betting Trends
The Hornets are 1-9-1 against the spread in their last 11 games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous contest.
The Wizards are 6-0 against the spread in their last six games when facing an opponent with a losing record.
I haven’t made it a habit of fading the Wizards at home and I won’t start tonight. They’re a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four home games and have covered in six straight. The home team is also 7-2 at the betting window in the previous nine meetings between these two teams, while the Hornets are just 1-6 against the number in their last seven trips to D.C.
