Anthony Davis tallied 17 points (8-of-18 FGs, 1-of-5 FTs), 16 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in Sunday's 112-108 loss to the Knicks, playing 37 minutes.  While Davis didn't have a terrible night shooting the basketball when play was live, the same can't be said for what happened at the foul line. He shot 1-of-5 from the charity stripe, a shocking output from a player who entered Sunday shooting 81.0%. The occasional bad night from the foul line isn't a huge deal, given Davis's overall production and the numbers he put up in other categories Sunday night. He's still a top-5 player in 9-cat formats for the season, and that's unlikely to change anytime soon. The Lakers have four games on the schedule for Week 21, beginning Tuesday in New Orleans.

New Orleans Pelicans DFS Spin

C.J. McCollum played 30 minutes in Sunday's 127-110 win over Portland, tallying 22 points (8-of-17 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, 11 assists, one steal, and four 3-pointers. McCollum recorded his fifth double-double of the season on Sunday, with this being his first since December 23. He's scored 22 points or more in five of his last six games, edging closer to top-75 value in 9-cat formats for the season. And McCollum could have done even more on Sunday, but there was no need to have him on the court at all during the fourth quarter. New Orleans will play three games in Week 21, a key matchup with the Lakers on Tuesday, followed by two games in Houston against the rebuilding Rockets.

Instead, I’m taking the under, which is 5-2 in the last seven meetings between these two teams, is 6-1 in the Pelicans’ last seven games overall and is a perfect 4-0 in New Orleans’ last four games after scoring 100 points or more in its previous contest. The under is also 13-3-1 in the Lakers’ last 17 games playing on one day of rest, is 4-1 in their last five games overall and is 4-0 in their last four games versus a team with a losing record.
