Dallas Mavericks DFS Spin

Jalen Brunson started for Luka Doncic (ankle) on Thursday and hit 9-of-15 shots, two 3-pointers and 6-of-10 free throws for 26 points, four rebounds, three assists, a steal and just one turnover in 35 minutes of Thursday's 116-108 loss to the Thunder. Brunson wasn't alone with his free throw woes tonight as Josh Richardson missed a couple and Tim Hardaway missed three of them. The Mavericks made up a 21-point deficit to cut it to a basket late in the game, but missed free throws and an inability to contain Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hurt before Aleksej Pokusevski hit a dagger 3-pointer with 53 seconds left in the game. Doncic should be back for the next one and while Brunson is having a fine season, he's a bit hit-or-miss when Luka is playing.

Denver Nuggets DFS Spin

Paul Millsap (left knee sprain) returned to action on Friday vs. Memphis, coming off the bench for 22 minutes with 11 points (4-of-7 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), seven rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one triple. Coach Michael Malone said that Millsap handled his bench role like a pro. "We're lucky to have veterans like Paul Millsap,” he said. With Michael Porter Jr. thriving alongside Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, Millsap is going to struggle to be anything more than a late-round player in fantasy leagues. For the season, Millsap is on pace for 11th-round fantasy numbers in 9-cat.

Clippers vs. Bucks Betting Prediction

The Mavericks are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games as an underdog, are 0-4 against the number in their last four games as a road dog and are 2-5 at the betting window in their last seven road games. The Nuggets, meanwhile, are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games overall, are 8-3 against the number in their last 11 home games following a road trip of more than seven days and are 4-1 ATS in their last five games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.
