Public Betting Trends

According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Wizards are 3-point favorites to beat the Magic. The total, meanwhile, sits at 226 points and as of this writing, 55% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Wizards to cover the point spread.

Orlando Magic Fantasy Spin

Aaron Gordon (sore ribs) is questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Washington. Gordon injured his ribs in the first half of Sunday's game, but did return to play in the second half and finished with 13 points, seven boards and six assists in 31 minutes. We should have an update on his status after Wednesday morning's shootaround. If Gordon is unable to play, Jonathan Isaac, Wesley Iwundu and Jarell Martin would soak up extra minutes.

Washington Wizards Fantasy Spin

Bradley Beal nearly triple-doubled in a 121-115 win over the Kings on Monday, scoring 27 points with nine rebounds and nine assists. He also recorded four steals with three triples, hitting 9-of-20 from the field and 6-of-8 from the line. It's a fantastic start to the week from Beal and his fantasy owners will continue to benefit from one of the best remaining schedules in the NBA -- the Wizards play three more times this week and follow that up with two straight weeks of four games each. He'll be locked in as a top-10 fantasy asset as long as his team is in striking distance of the No. 8 seed.

NBA Betting Trends

Orlando

The Magic are 8-22 against the spread in their last 30 games playing on only two days of rest.

Washington

The Wizards are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game.

Prediction

The Magic have been one of the more inconsistent teams in the NBA of late, although they have been consistently bad on the road. They’re 1-4 against the number in their last five road games and have failed to cover the spread in all four of their games overall. On the other side, the Wizards have struggled on the road but have been a solid play at home, covering the spread in four of their previous five games. They’re also a perfect 5-0 against the spread in their last five games overall. No reason to go away from Washington considering the team is only laying a few points tonight.

Wednesday NBA Prediction: Washington Wizards -3
