Are the Hornets a good bet to cover the spread against the struggling Bulls tonight at 7:00PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Hornets are now 7-point home favorites versus the Bulls after opening as a 5-point favorite. As for the total, the number hit the board at 203.5 but has been bet down to 200.

Chicago was whooped by Boston 100-80 on Sunday and has now lost six of its last 10 games entering play tonight. The Bulls are also just 4-6 against the spread over their last 10 games, are 31-35 at the betting window on the season, and are 15-18 against the number on the road.

Charlotte has been highly inconsistent of late, altering wins and losses over its last four games. The Hornets fell 125-122 in overtime at home to the Pelicans on Saturday night and are now 5-5 over their last 10 games. They're 5-4-1 against the spread during that stretch and are now 28-35 at the betting window on the season, which includes a 14-18 ATS mark at home.

OUR PREDICTION: The Hornets aren't exactly the most trustworthy team right now but fading the Bulls has been profitable of late. Chicago is 1-6 against the spread in its last seven road games and 0-5 against the number in its last five games overall. The Bulls have also failed to cover in five of their last six games against the Hornets and are winless at the betting window at 0-4 in their last four games in Charlotte.
