Spurs vs. Mavericks Spread Prediction
The Spurs are heating up, with their latest victory coming at home versus the previously red-hot Bucks. That said, the Spurs have struggled on the road this year and that’s where they’ll be Tuesday night when they take on the Mavericks at 8:00 p.m. ET. Will the Spurs come through for bettors?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Spurs are 4.5-point favorites to beat the Mavericks. The total, meanwhile, sits at 217.5 points and as of this writing, 54% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Mavericks to cover the point spread.
San Antonio Spurs Fantasy Spin
Rudy Gay (illness) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Mavericks. This will be Gay's second consecutive game on the sidelines due to the illness, and for now, we'll be considering him questionable for Friday's game against the Knicks. Jakob Poeltl could be looking at another start on Tuesday, or Gregg Popovich could go with Davis Bertans with LaMarcus Aldridge shifting over to the five-spot, while Marco Belinelli will also have some more opportunity on offense.
Dallas Mavericks Fantasy Spin
Luka Doncic (left knee strain) is questionable for Tuesday vs. the Spurs and was spotted getting treatment to the side of Dallas' practice. In case you missed it, Doncic said he felt a "pop" during Sunday's game but it sounds like he escaped with a minor injury. The Mavericks have plenty of incentive to be cautious, so they won't throw him out there if he's not at or close to 100 percent. Jalen Brunson, Maxi Kleber and Dorian Finney-Smith are players to monitor on the wire while we wait for more news.
NBA Betting Trends
San Antonio
The Spurs are just 1-8 against the spread in their last nine games versus the rest of the Western Conference.
Dallas
The Mavericks have failed to cover the spread in eight of their last 11 games overall.
Prediction
The Doncic injury news is concerning, but I still like the Mavericks to keep the final score within the point spread tonight. The underdog has cashed in 23 of the previous 27 meetings between these two teams while the Spurs are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games versus the Mavericks. San Antonio has also been horrendous on the road this season, failing to cover the spread in seven of its last nine road games. The Mavericks, meanwhile, are 19-9-1 against the spread in their last 29 home games.
Tuesday NBA Prediction: Dallas Mavericks +4.5
