TV: ESPN, 10:30 p.m. ET
Portland opened as 7-point home favorites to beat Miami tonight but the line dropped to 6.5 at the majority of online sportsbooks. The total, meanwhile, sits at 208 points after dropping three full points from 211.
As of this writing, 64% of the betting tickets are on the Trail Blazers to cover the spread while 67% of the betting tickets wagered online are on the over.
KEY INJURY TO WATCH
Hassan Whiteside (hip) is out for the Heat but Justise Winslow (knee) is probable. Dion Waiters (ankle, out for the year) and Dwyane Wade (hamstring) are both out.
The Heat have been cashing the over left and right for bettors. In their last five road games, the over is a perfect 5-0. In their last 15 games overall, the over is 11-4. The over is also 8-1 in Miami's last nine games coming off an ATS win, is 4-0 in its last four games coming off a straight up win, and is 7-3 in its last 10 games after scoring 100 points or more in its previous contest.
OUR PREDICTION: HEAT/TRAIL BLAZERS OVER 208
