New York Knicks DFS Spin

RJ Barrett shot 9-of-23 from the field and 6-of-10 from the foul line in Thursday's 122-117 loss to the Kings, scoring 25 points with seven rebounds, two assists, and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes. The Knicks lost Jalen Brunson before halftime after he aggravated the left foot injury that sidelined him for two games, and this had a major impact on the team's offense. Neither Barrett nor Julius Randle (23/10/5/2 with two 3-pointers in 36 minutes) was able to get their points in an efficient manner, combining to shoot 17-of-45 from the field with Randle also committing four turnovers. And Immanuel Quickley didn't help matters, either, as he went 1-of-11 from the field and scored three points in 27 minutes. Barrett has never been the most efficient scorer, which is why his fantasy value is so low. Not having Brunson on the court would be a huge blow to RJ and the Knicks as a whole.

Los Angeles Clippers DFS Spin

Wednesday's double-double was his second in as many games and his third of the season. Ranked third in 9-cat, per-game value over the last month, Leonard is closing in on first-round value for the season as a whole. He led four Clippers in double figures Wednesday night, with Paul George (23/2/4/1 with two 3-pointers), Ivica Zubac (17/8/1/0/2), and Terance Mann (14/4/4/1) being the others. The Clippers only play once more this week, Saturday afternoon against the Knicks.
