Besides Fox, the Kings came out flat with the rest of the team starting 0-of-11 while Fox started 3-of-4. He had been in a small slump coming into this game with each of his previous four games having a usage rate below his season average (23.6), and this was his first efficient scoring game since Feb. 10 against the Suns (60-plus TS%). Fox's minutes are back on the rise again with 34.4 over his last five, and the Kings still have several games to go as they make their playoff push. They'll be leaning heavily on Fox to help overcome their current 3.5-game deficit from the eighth-seeded Spurs, so expect a strong finish from the second-year guard.

Washington Wizards Fantasy Spin

Bradley Beal hit a game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer to send Saturday's game to overtime, finishing with 36 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in a 135-130 loss to the Wolves. He had his first game below 20 points in almost two months on Friday, but bounced back in a big way in this OT thriller. Beal's post-break output is even better these days, averaging 29.2 points, 5.7 boards, 6.6 dimes, 0.9 blocks, 2.0 steals and 2.7 treys over his previous seven outings. He looks like a top-10 player going forward and has four games in each of the next three weeks.

Prediction

Even though the Kings are 4-1 against the spread in their last five road games and remain in the mix for a playoff berth in the Western Conference, they also might be a house of cards ready to collapse. Harry Giles is just 4-of-18 shooting from the field in his last two games and Buddy Hield has cooled after his tremendous start. De’Aaron Fox did put on a show the night versus the Knicks but if the Kings come out flat again tonight, the Wizards could take over and never look back. The home team is 9-1-1 against the spread in the last 11 meetings between these two teams while the Kings are 0-5 at the betting window in their last five trips to D.C.
