Portland Trail Blazers DFS Spin

Jusuf Nurkic logged 17 minutes in Wednesday's 115-93 loss to the Celtics, accounting for five points (2-of-6 FGs, 1-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, and two assists. Back in action for the first time since February 1 after aggravating a strained left calf, Nurkic was in the starting lineup but offered a limited return to fantasy managers. And the man he replaced in the starting lineup, Drew Eubanks, didn't offer much, either. Eubanks played 14 minutes, scoring two points (1-of-1 FGs) to go along with six rebounds and one assist, and is safe to drop at this point. Nurkic sits just outside the top 100 in 9-cat, per-game value for the season, but fantasy managers should not expect too much in the short term. Portland finishes its road trip with games against Philadelphia and New Orleans. Damian Lillard led the way offensively for the Blazers, scoring 27 points to go along with five rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers.

James Harden (left foot soreness) is not on the initial injury report for Friday's game against Portland. Held out of Tuesday's win over the Timberwolves, Harden participated in Thursday's light practice session. That was enough to get him removed from the initial injury report for Friday, so fantasy managers should assume that he'll play. Harden's return means De'Anthony Melton will come off the bench, where his fantasy value takes a considerable hit.
