Cleveland Cavs DFS Spin
Darius Garland led the Cavaliers to a 104-100 win over the Heat on Wednesday with a line of 25 points (8-of-16 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), seven assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 39 minutes. All five Cavs starters hit double figures Wednesday night, with Garland being the best of the quintet. He's scored 20 or more in three of his last four games, his most productive stretch since late January when he met or exceeded that number in six straight. Garland's good night helped make up for Donovan Mitchell shooting 7-of-18 from the field and finishing with 18 points (four rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer). But Mitchell did manage to make franchise history, surpassing J.R. Smith for the most made 3-pointers in a season. Jarrett Allen (15/12/2/1/1), Evan Mobley (15/6/6/1/2), and Isaac Okoro (13/0/2/2 with three 3-pointers) also hit double figures for the Cavaliers.
Miami Heat DFS Spin
Jimmy Butler shot 8-of-14 from the field and 12-of-15 from the foul line in Wednesday's 104-100 loss to the Cavaliers, scoring 28 points with five rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in 35 minutes. Two nights removed from shooting 8-of-14 from the field in a win over the Hawks, Butler duplicated that feat Wednesday night. He's scored 26 or more in four of his last seven games, providing top-25 per-game value in 9-cat formats over the last two weeks. Butler has now cracked the first round in season-long value; production has never been the concern for fantasy managers, availability is. Butler hasn't missed a game since January 24, and this is why he's now a first-round player. Tyler Herro (22/5/5/2 with four 3-pointers) and Bam Adebayo (17/1/1/0/2) also hit double figures, but the latter somehow grabbed just one rebound in 28 minutes.
