Wizards vs. Timberwolves Prediction
The Wizards and Timberwolves will meet Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. ET in Minneapolis. Will Washington defeat Minnesota for the second time in seven days? Or at the very least, will the Wizards cover as a touchdown-sized underdog on the road?

Our NBA Live Odds page pulls spreads and totals from multiple different online sportsbooks so you can compare betting odds to ensure you’re getting the best line.
Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Timberwolves are 7-point favorites to beat the Wizards. The total, meanwhile, sits at 242.5 points and as of this writing, 58% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Timberwolves to cover the point spread.
Washington Wizards Fantasy Spin
Bradley Beal struggled mightily against the Hornets on Friday, scoring 15 points on 4-of-21 shooting (6-of-6 FTs) with four rebounds, seven assists, five steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 41 minutes. Beal's ice cold shooting night led to him scoring fewer than 20 points for the first time in almost two months (18 games). He was coming of an incredible six-game stretch that saw him as the top ranked fantasy player, which makes this off night a lot easier to swallow. The Wiz are clinging to very small playoff hopes and have a 4-4-4 schedule over the next three weeks, meaning Beal should continue to be huge as the team's go-to scorer.
Minnesota Timberwolves Fantasy Spin
Andrew Wiggins (left quad contusion) is probable for Saturday's game vs. the Wizards. Over the Wolves last five games, Wiggy is averaging 16.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.4 treys and 1.2 blocks, but is shooting just 31.8 percent from the floor and 53.8 percent from the free-throw stripe.
NBA Betting Trends
Washington
The Wizards have covered the spread in four of their last five games overall.
Minnesota
The Timberwolves have failed to cover the spread in four of their last five games.
Prediction
While Minnesota has struggled lately at the betting window and Washington has thrived, I like the Timberwolves to get a measure of revenge tonight. The Wizards are just 2-6 against the number in their last eight trips to Minneapolis and have struggled to cover on the road, dropping 33 of their last 45 games away from D.C. The home team is also 13-5 against the spread in the previous 18 meetings in this series while the favorite has cashed in 12 of the previous 17 meetings overall.
Saturday NBA Prediction: Minnesota Timberwolves -7
