Suns vs. Trail Blazers Spread Prediction
After covering the spread in seven consecutive games, the Trail Blazers have lost back-to-back games both on the hardwood and at the betting window. Will they rebound both straight up and ATS when they host the Suns tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET as a double-digit favorite?

Phoenix Suns Fantasy Spin
Deandre Ayton said that Devin Booker predicted he would score 40 points against the Knicks on Wednesday. "Book called that he was going to get 40 and he got it," said Ayton. "That’s my first time witnessing somebody say ‘I’m about to get 40’ and they did it with an amazing [win]. I’m all in on that." Booker was on a mission on Wednesday night, and the best news for fantasy owners is that he said he's finally feeling healthy. He could miss random games down the stretch, but maybe he'll be able to avoid an outright shutdown if he's feeling good.
Portland Trail Blazers Fantasy Spin
Damian Lillard made 15-of-28 from the field and 18-of-20 from the line for a season-high 51 points during a 129-121 loss to the Thunder on Thursday, adding five rebounds, nine assists, one steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers in 47 minutes. His 18 makes from the line are a career best to get him to his fifth 50-point game of his career. Post-break Dame has been a thing in each of the previous two seasons, but this year he got off to a slow start with three games under 22 points after the All-Star Game. However, Lillard has topped 22 in each of his last five, averaging 31.0 points, 5.0 boards, 5.8 dimes, 0.8 steals and 3.2 treys on a 48/35/92 shooting line. He should be among the most reliable star point guards to finish up the season.
NBA Betting Trends
Phoenix
The Suns are 4-12 against the spread in their last 16 games when playing on two days of rest.
Portland
The Trail Blazers have covered the number in 17 of their previous 22 home games when facing an opponent with a road winning percentage of less than .400.
Prediction
I like the Trail Blazers to bounce back tonight. The Grizzlies’ defense has given them trouble this season and after returning home from a lengthy road trip, they just ran out of gas against the Thunder. After having a day off to regroup, the Blazers should throttle the lowly Suns. Portland is 38-17 against the spread in its last 55 home games, is 7-2 against the number in its last nine games overall and is 20-7 at the betting window in its last 27 games playing on one day of rest. On the other side, the Suns are 1-5 against the spread in their last six road games and failed to cover the number in four of their previous five games following a win of more than 10 points.
Saturday NBA Prediction: Portland Trail Blazers -12.5
