Chicago Bulls DFS Spin
DeMar DeRozan shot 9-of-16 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Sunday's loss to the Pacers, scoring 23 points with five rebounds, three assists, and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes. DeRozan, who has scored 21 points or more in four of his last five games, is ranked just outside the top 50 in 9-cat formats over the last two weeks. He's still a top-25 player for the season, so a slight downturn in scoring isn't an issue. What was an issue for the Bulls on Sunday was the lack of scoring from players other than DeRozan and Zach LaVine (42 points). Nikola Vucevic (12/9/5/3/2) recorded a full line in 36 minutes, but the Bulls' lack of consistent scorers beyond their "big three" makes it imperative that he approach 20 every time out.
Denver Nuggets DFS Spin
Aaron Gordon shot 7-of-12 from the field and 5-of-6 from the foul line in Monday's 118-113 win over the Raptors, accounting for 19 points, six rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in 30 minutes. While the scoring has dipped since Gordon's return from a left rib contusion, it isn't because of poor shooting. He's shot 20-of-38 from the field over Denver's last four games and has been a top-75 player over the last week. Denver plays three more games this week without a back-to-back, which should help Gordon, given the time mentioned for the injury mentioned above. With Vlatko Cancar sidelined, it was Jeff Green who served as Gordon's primary backup Monday night, finishing with six points, three rebounds, and one assist in 18 minutes.
