Memphis Grizzlies DFS Spin

According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne and Liz Merrill, the Glendale (Colorado) PD is investigating Ja Morant for his actions in an Instagram video posted on his account early Saturday morning. Morant went live on his Instagram account at a strip club early Saturday morning, hours after the Grizzlies lost to the Nuggets, holding up a gun while filming. Colorado is an open-carry state (there are some exceptions), but it is prohibited by state law to possess a firearm while under the influence of alcohol. The investigation began after law enforcement learned about the video in question. Morant will remain away from the team through Tuesday's game against the Lakers at a minimum. Tyus Jones will be the Grizzlies' starting point guard until Morant is cleared to return.

Los Angeles Lakers DFS Spin

Anthony Davis played 37 minutes in Sunday's 113-105 win over the Warriors, accumulating 39 points (14-of-25 FGs, 10-of-13 FTs), eight rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and one 3-pointer. With LeBron James (foot) sidelined, the Lakers are going to need performances of this caliber from Davis if they're to reach the playoffs without the aid of the play-in tournament. He's scored 30 points or more in three of his last four appearances, with the exception being the Lakers' February 28 loss to the Grizzlies (28 points). Davis is ranked third in season-long, 9-cat value, and he should remain safely within the top 5 as long as injuries aren't an issue. And Davis received some help from frontcourt partner Jarred Vanderbilt on Sunday, with Vando adding 10 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, and one steal in just 24 minutes. JV should be rostered in more than 64% of Yahoo leagues, even with the Lakers playing three games next week.
