Atlanta Hawks DFS Spin
Trae Young finished with a well-rounded line on Friday as he contributed 23 points (6-for-14 FGs), seven rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and three 3-pointers in a win over the Blazers. Trae’s shooting struggles have been on full display this season, but he looked like the former All-Star starter in the third quarter, when he hit three straight 3-pointers. He has hit more than three triples in a game only eight times this season, after doing it 30 times last year. His 30-point streak ended at two, but he was able to help Quin Snyder get his first win as head coach of the Hawks despite a slow start shooting the ball. Young has provided top-20 value since the All-Star break, which is more in line with where managers expected him to produce than how he has performed this season.
Miami Heat DFS Spin
Bam Adebayo shot 10-of-12 from the field and 10-of-12 from the foul line in Saturday's 117-109 win over the Hawks, scoring 30 points with 11 rebounds, five assists, one steal, and two blocks in 35 minutes. One night removed from a pedestrian night by his lofty standards, Adebayo rebounded in the second game of Miami's home back-to-back. Not only was this his first double-double since the Heat's final game before the All-Star break, it was also Bam's first game with 30 points or more since February 8 vs. Indiana. Bam's only providing 14th-round, per-game value over the last two weeks, but there isn't much to worry about there. Miami plays four games in Week 20, beginning with a rematch with the Hawks Monday night.
