Mitchell is starting his second half on fire, averaging 33.0 points, 5.4 boards, 5.2 dimes, 0.8 blocks and 3.6 treys on a 34.1 usage rate. His coaching staff is treating him like an offensive superstar and big things look to be ahead.

New Orleans Pelicans Fantasy Spin

Anthony Davis (illness) played 22 minutes on Monday vs. the Jazz, scoring 15 points with 11 rebounds, three assists, three steals, three blocks and one triple. Apart from a late appearance to defend an inbounds pass, AD sat in the fourth quarter. Despite playing 22 or less minutes in his last five active games, Davis is still putting up elite numbers with 17.4 points, 8.0 boards, 2.8 dimes, 2.0 blocks and 1.6 steals. Of course he also has two DNPs mixed in, and there's no telling how long the Pelicans will keep this up. The Pelicans have three more games this week with none of them being back-to-backs, so for now the expectation is that we'll see him for roughly 20 minutes in all three.

If Utah is as sloppy tonight as it was against New Orleans on Monday (18 turnovers), then I like the Pelicans to cover as a home dog again. The Pels are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games overall and have covered in five of their previous seven home contests.
