Houston has won two of three against the Clippers this season and covered the spread in all three meetings. Los Angeles is playing well right now, but Los Angeles hasn’t shown an ability to have a lot of long winning streaks without a letdown game mixed in. Their overall road record is still concerning as the playoffs approach. Houston has played well with a small lineup, but the Rockets also haven’t been facing the cream of the crop in recent outings. Their win at Boston last weekend was impressive and should give them hope tonight. Houston needs this game more than the Clippers from a winning mindset. I think Los Angeles’ depth could be a problem or the Rockets, but I expect Harden and Westbrook to be at their best for this big game.
