76ers vs. Bucks Pick
809 Philadelphia 76ers at 810 Milwaukee Bucks, 8PM ET
According to oddsmakers at YouWager, the 76ers are a 1.5-point favorite on the spread line. The total is set at 208 points.
The spread opened as a pick'em before tilting in Philadelphia's favor, while the total has gone down after opening at 209.5. The Sixers can be found as a 1-point fave at some books, while the total is either 208 or 208.5 depending where you look.
As of Sunday afternoon, 69 percent of public bets are coming in on the visiting Sixers. Online wager info also shows that 69 percent of bets are pouring in on the over.
INJURY TO WATCH
Philadelphia star center Joel Embiid is dealing with a back injury but is expected to play tonight. The Sixers have three other players - Furkan Korkmaz (foot), Justin Anderson (ankle) and Demetrius Jackson (abductor strain) - who are all listed as questionable. For Milwaukee, Tony Snell is probable to play with a right thigh contusion.
The 76ers have been surging lately with straight up wins in eight of their last 10 games, while they have gone 6-3-1 ATS during that stretch. The Bucks are trending the opposite way with losses in five of their last six. The two meetings have been split this season with each team winning decisively on their home court. It should be noted that during the Sixers' 116-94 home win over Milwaukee on Jan. 20, Giannis Antetokounmpo missed the game with an injury. As long as Embiid plays tonight, I like the visitors. The Bucks have not been good against opposing centers and Embiid is as good as they come. Look for Philadelphia to record a nice road win tonight.
