Bucks keep rolling on

Milwaukee had a low-scoring game with Charlotte last night, but still picked up a 93-85 road win for a sixth straight victory. The Bucks are 52-8 on the season, 25-5 on the road, 35-25 against the spread and 30-29-1 with the under.

The Bucks lead the league in scoring, averaging 119.6 points per game while shooting 48 percent as a team. Defensively, Milwaukee is giving up just 106.9 points per game while holding opponents to 41 percent shooting. Milwaukee is led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is averaging 29.9 points, 13.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists per contest. Khris Middleton is adding 21.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.

Heat struggling to cover

Miami is coming off a 116-113 win at home over Brooklyn on Saturday for a second straight victory, but the Heat are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games. The Heat are now 38-22 on the season, 25-4 at home, 31-27-2 against the spread and 37-22-1 with the over.

The Heat are putting up 112.8 points per game on offense this season while shooting 47 percent from the field. Defensively, Miami is giving up 109.5 points per game while opponents shoot 44.8 percent from the floor. Jimmy Butler is leading the Heat with 20.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game. Bam Adebayo is adding 16.2 points, 10.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists per contest.

NBA Betting Trends

Milwaukee

The Bucks have covered the spread in six straight games on no rest and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite.

Miami

The Heat are 20-9-1 against the spread in their last 30 home games, but 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 games following a win.

Prediction:

Miami won the first meeting with the Bucks in Milwaukee back on Oct. 26, but I think the Bucks continue their winning ways tonight. Even on no rest, Milwaukee has been able to play at a high level. Miami has had a strong season, but the Heat have been playing some of their worst basketball in recent weeks. I think their offense is going to struggle with the Milwaukee defense and the Heat won’t be able to get enough stops to keep pace. The Bucks are just too strong for them.

NBA Prediction: Milwaukee Bucks -3.5
