Pistons vs. Magic Pick

NBA Predictions: Will Pistons keep momentum going at Magic? 3/2/18

Are the Detroit Pistons going to get the job done on the road tonight when they take on the Orlando Magic?

801 Detroit Pistons vs. 802 Orlando Magic, 7PM ET

According to oddsmakers at YouWager, the Pistons are listed as a 2.5-point favorite on the spread line. The total is set at 215 points.

Bet NBA Action For Friday, March 2, 2018

The spread opened with Detroit as a 2.5-point favorite where it sits now, while the total has dropped after opening at 217. The Pistons can be found as a 3-point favorite at certain books, while the total is seen as low as 214.

As of Friday afternoon, 60 percent of public bets have sided with the visiting Pistons. Online wager info also shows that 71 percent of bets are coming in on the over.

Detroit point guard Reggie Jackson remains out with a sprained ankle and is targeting a mid-March return. For the Magic, power forward Jonathan Isaac is dealing with a sprained ankle but is expected to return to action tonight. Fellow power forward Marreese Speights has missed the last three games tending to a personal matter and is questionable to play tonight.

Thetwo meetings have been split this season, with each team winning on its home floor. The Pistons won 114-110 at Little Caesars Arena on Dec. 17, while Orlando returned the favor Dec. 28 with a 102-89 victory at the Amway Center. The Magic have actually covered the spread the last five meetings, while Detroit had covered the spread the previous five. The Pistons snapped a three-game losing skid with an impressive 110-87 home victory two nights ago versus the Bucks. The Magic are healthier now, but it isn't helping in the win column as they have lost seven games in a row. I'm taking the Pistons here with a reasonable spread.
